Dear Property Owner(s):
Collier County is moving forward with planned improvements within the Big Cypress Golf Estates and Country Club of Naples. Project improvements include stormwater system renovation, water main replacement and roadway improvements to enhance drainage, utility reliability, and overall public infrastructure. Construction is scheduled to commence in July 2026.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
All privately owned improvements located within the county’s right-of-way, including but not limited to landscaping, fencing, structures, mailboxes, irrigation, lighting, electrical facilities, and/or other appurtenances, must be removed from the right-of-way prior to the commencement of construction.
To avoid disruptions, you are required to remove these encroachments from the right-of-way no later than July 1st, 2026, failing to do so will result in removal during the clearing and grubbing phase of the project at commencement of construction.
We remind you it is your responsibility to secure any additional construction permits and surveys, if needed, as required by Collier County for the removal and/or relocation of the encroachments.
SPECIAL NOTICE: Mailboxes located within project limits will be removed and replaced by the county’s contractor in accordance with applicable standards. Property owners who wish to retain their existing mailbox must coordinate directly with the contractor in advance of construction. The county is not responsible for the preservation of existing mailboxes that are not coordinated in advance.
